Although litigation imposes an important discipline on parties, and the discovery process can aid in factual development that often leads to resolution, adversarial proceedings can be costly to all those involved in terms of economics and emotional health. Parties and attorneys can often preserve important relationships and achieve better control over processes and outcomes through mediation or facilitation. Edward Hagan has completed judiciary sponsored 40-hour mediation training, and 40 additional hours of supplemental transformative, employment, and bankruptcy related training. Mr. Hagan has also completed basic multidisciplinary collaborative practice training for family law disputes. He has personally mediated/facilitated over one hundred cases as a neutral. |
